Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s next with director Ponram titled Seemaraja

Today, on his birthday, the makers revealed the first look poster of the film and also revealed the title of the film.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Velaikkaran directed by Mohan Raja which had an underlying message for common man. The film spoke about a lot of issues including the workers in various industries and had a subtle message for audiences. Velaikkaran turned out to be a successful film in Sivakarthikeyan’s career and got added to the list of hits the actor has. Sivakarthikeyan will next be seen in a film directed by Ponram and will also star top South Indian actor Samantha Akkineni as the leading lady. And today, on his birthday, the makers revealed the first look poster of the film and also revealed the title of the film. The film is titled SeemaRaja and the first look poster of the film is interesting, as most of his films. The film is slated to be released in September during Vinayaka Chaturthi, confirmed the first look poster. The film will have music by D.Imman who recently turned 100 films old in the industry. Besides Sivakarthikeyan and Samantha Akkineni, SeemaRaja will also stars seasoned actor Simran and Soori in important roles.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be playing the love interest of Sivakarthikeyan’s role in SeemaRaja and this will also be the first time for this pair to associate for a film together. The film will be majorly shot in and around Tenkasi. Samantha has trained for her role in this film by learning the weapon-based ancient art form Silambam. The actress had even posted a video of practising Silambam on her social networking page. Seemaraja is touted to be a rom-com and is set in a rural backdrop.

Besides these lead actors, actors like Napoleon, Yogi Babu, Manobala, Lal and Motta Rajendran will also feature in this film. Produced by RD Raja under the banner 24 AM Studios, the film will also have few VFX scenes which will be supervised by RC Kamalakannan who worked on Baahubali.
