Actors Suriya and Karthi croon a special number for Venkat Prabhu’s Party

Brothers and actors Suriya Sivakumar and Karthi have sung a song together for Venkat Prabhu’s upcoming film titled Party which has music composed by Premgi Amaren. Said to be a special number, the song is titled Cha Cha Charey which will have the brothers croon together. This is the first ever time that Suriya and Karthi are collaborating for a film although they don’t share screen space. The song is said to be a peppy number and will be released today via social media. The actors have sung in the past but not together. Suriya has sung the song Ek Do Theen in Anjaan while Karthi sung the song Mississippi in Biryani. Along with Suriya and Karthi, composer Premgi Amaren to has rendered few vocals in the song, reports reveal.

Party stars Jayaram, Jai, Premgi Amaren, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Regina Casandra, Sanchita Shetty, Nivetha Pethuraj, Nasser and Chandran among others. The makers had recently released the teaser of Party which will leave us in splits. Taking a hilarious dig at the demonetisation, Party seems to be a fun-filled story with huge humour quotient with a trademark Venkat Prabhu style. Starring top actors like Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram and Nasser in important roles, Party seems to be a laugh riot and Tamil movie-buffs would be waiting for the release of the film.

Venkat Prabhu, Premgi and Jai have been close friends for a long time and have collaborated for many films. Venkat Prabhu had last made Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings, which was not as successful as the first part was. Chennai 600028, the first part, had released in 2007 and was a game changer in Tamil cinema. Venkat Prabhu changed the approach towards filmmaking and brought in a lot of innovations which brought about a lot of change in the dynamics of Tamil cinema.
