About nine months ago, the South Indian film was rocked with a controversy after few morphed images of actors and actresses were posted online by popular singer Suchitra Karthik. Referred to as ‘Suchi Leaks’, the controversy dragged a lot of big names into it including Dhanush and many others. And after a long gap, actor Anuya Bhagvath has now filed a complaint with the cyber police in Mumbai asking to remove her morphed images from social media and online immediately. The actor mentioned in her complaint that this has led to her character assassination and wants the police team to take action immediately.

Speaking about why she is filing the complaint now after nine months of Suchi Leaks, Anuya said “Initially, I tried to fix the problem on my own, but failed. The morphed pictures have led to character assassination. Finally, I got in touch with my lawyer Vishal Saxena who filed the application.” Speaking about the complaint, Anuya Bhagvath’s lawyer Vishal Saxena said, “The case is already being investigated in Chennai after Karthik complained that someone had hacked into her account and uploaded the morphed pictures.”

When the morphed images went viral on social media, Suchtitra’s husband, actor Karthik said that her Twitter account was hacked by someone and she is not the one who has been posting all the images. The images included famous personalities like Dhanush, Rana Daggubati and many others from South Indian film industries.
