“Nibunan seemed like a convenient film for me to do, as I know both the languages it was made in — Tamil and Kannada. There has been a phenomenal response for the film, and it is all the more special for me, as being a Tamil girl, I think the film has opened up more opportunities for me,” he added.
Moreover, the actress opened up about financing offbeat shorts through her production house and quipped that it allows her to get a fresh perspective on cinema. She added that she loves being an ‘Indie bee’ and would continue to be associated with such projects.
“The beauty about such films is that, everyone is very passionate about it, with the business part of it almost non-existent. That makes a difference. I think I am an ‘indie-bee’ and will always continue to be a part of such projects,” said Sruthi.
We are happy for her and hope that she continues winning hearts with her work.
