Last year, the much-loved Aditi Rao Hydari received rave reviews for her relatable performance in ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ and gave her fans a big reason to rejoice. Directed by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam, this romantic-drama saw her share screen space with Karthi and received a mixed response upon release. Now, Aditi is all set to work with the ‘Iruvar’ director again. She has been roped in to play a pivotal role in his multi starrer which also has Simbu and Jyothika in the lead. Confirming the good news, Aditi said that working with Mani again is nothing short of a ‘blessing’ for her. She also said that she is fond of his disciplined style of filmmaking.
“Another film with Mani sir is a blessing. While shooting for Kaatru Veliyidai, I was living my childhood dream of working with my favourite director. It was surreal and thrilling at the same time. It had been such an enriching experience that I got hooked to his style and discipline of filmmaking. I just can’t wait for the schedule of the film to kick off.” She added.
Well, we are happy for Aditi and hope that the film turns out to be a memorable one for her.
On a related note, the lovely lady was last seen in ‘Padmaavat’and delivered a sincere performance. Directed by ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film has been described as a ‘tale of Rajput valour’ and is doing well at the box office. Featuring Deepika Padukone in the role of the valiant Padmavati, it hit screens after being embroiled in a host of controversies. Prior to its release several groups had objected to the film and claimed that it ‘distorted’ history.
At present, besides the Mani film, Aditi also has a Telugu film with Mohana Krishna in her kitty.
