Having started her career as a host for a popular Tamil comedy show television, Aishwarya Rajesh has had a steady progress to her career. Aishwarya made her acting debut with Avargalum Ivargalum in 2011. She became popular for her role as Amudha in Attakathi which released a year later in 2012. She gradually became a popular actress in Tamil and later ventured into Malayalam cinema as well. Her debut in Malayalam was Jomonte Suvisheshangal alongside Dulquer Salmaan, which was widely appreciated. She then acted with Nivin Pauly in Sakhavu for which she received rave reviews.
Aishwarya Rajesh is currently working on Vada Chennai which has Dhanush as the lead. Besides Vada Chennai, Aishwarya is also a part of Dhruva Natchathiram with Chiyan Vikram, which is being directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Aishwarya is now making her debut in Bollywood with a film titled ‘Daddy’ which has Arjun Rampal as the lead. Speaking about it to an agency, Aishwarya said, “Daddy is an amazing Bollywood debut for me. I don’t play a typical Bollywood heroine. It’s a performance-oriented role. Arjun Rampal is one of the best co-stars I’ve ever worked with. I had an excellent experience sharing screen space with him.”
‘Daddy’ is the story based on gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli, which is being played by Arjun Rampal. Speaking about her co-star, Aishwarya said, “I was almost like a newborn baby on the set. He is such a humble star and always supported me very well. Even when he used to introduce me to someone, he would say, ‘she is an extraordinary performer and a brilliant actress’.“
Aishwarya Rajesh has had to face a lot of hurdles in getting to where she is today. “I had to put in a lot of effort to stand where I’m today. I have built my career brick by brick to reach this level. It was definitely not a cakewalk,” said Aishwarya.
