Aishwarya Rajesh about her first Hindi film: I did take 25 takes for a scene in Daddy

Aishwarya Rajesh—who is a popular name in Southern cinema—will soon be making her Bollywood debut with the eagerly-awaited ‘Daddy’. And, it goes without saying that she is quite excited about the same. During a recent interaction with a leading website. The star revealed that she faced some difficulties while shooting because of the language barrier. She went on to add that she actually took 25 retakes for a press conference scene as she wanted to do things without any prompting.

“Yes, I did take 25 takes for the scene. The scene was a very lengthy one for Daddy. I was not fine with prompting and wanted to speak the lines. However, I didn’t know the language and it was not easy to get it right. So I immediately decided to mug up the dialogues and it was a press conference scene,” she added.

Well, that is quite a revelation and it proves that Aishwarya Rajesh is one dedicated performer. Let’s hope that ‘Daddy’ does well at the box office and helps her add a new dimension to her career.

In case you did not know, ‘Daddy’ is touted to a crime-drama and features Arjun Rampal in the role of gangster Arun Gawli. Aishwarya Rajesh will be playing the role of Arjun’s wife in this one.

On a related note, this is a busy time for the lovely lady. Besides ‘Daddy’, she has ‘Dhruva Natchatiram’ and ‘Vada Chennai’ in her kitty. ‘Dhruva Natchatiram’ is a spy-thriller and is being directed by Gautham Menon. On the other hand, ‘Vada Chennai’ is a crime thriller and has Dhanush in the lead.
