The lovely Amala Paul has been in the limelight these days thanks to her latest release ‘Thiruttu Payale 2’ which finally hit screens today. The film grabbed plenty of attention prior to its release, courtesy its sensuous poster and the lovely lady’s new avatar. Talking about the bold poster, she said that it was ‘poetic’ rather than sensuous. She added that ‘Thiruttu Payale 2’ has a terrific plot and wonderful director.

“When director Susi Ganeshan sent me the first look on WhatsApp, I actually liked it and felt it was poetic rather than sensuous. But the startling buzz it created was quite strange, and I started to receive a lot of responses. There is a specific reason for the way the poster looks, which you will discover after watching the film. Thiruttu Payale 2 has a great story, an unconventional cast and a great director who was also a teacher. I couldn’t have asked for more,” she added.

Besides this, she also spoke about her dislike for the social media and said that had she not been an actor she would never have joined the social media wagon.

“I would call myself a social media-phobic person. If not for this profession, I wouldn’t have tried social media. But now I have no choice but to connect with my fans. I think I can spread positivity through my Instagram account. Twitter has become messy with all the ongoing arguments and debates. So I’m not very active on Twitter,” she added.

Well, these are some strong words and prove that Amala truly lives life on her own terms. In case you did not know, ‘Thiruttu Payale 2’ is a sequel to ‘Thiruttu Payale’ and also features Bobby Simhaa in the lead,
