Actor Silambarasan aka Simbu has been in the news lately for a few good reasons and not so good reasons too. It was reported that Simbu has been issued a red card by the Tamil Film Producers’ Council for his alleged undisciplined behaviour during the shooting of his latest film Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan which had him play triple roles. It was also being said that producer Miachel Rayappan had approached the producers’ council regarding this and had complained about SImbu’s alleged behaviour. Michael Rayappan, yesterday, held a press meet and cleared the all air around the film Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan and SImbu’s approach towards the film.
“Simbu is the reason for huge loss Anbanavan Adangadhavan Asaradhavan (AAA) suffered. His lack of prpfessionalism led me to suffer a huge setback. Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) should issue red card against the actor for the welfare of the industry,” producer Michael Rayappan said at the press meet. Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan was directed by Adhik Ravichandran and Simbu playing triple roles in the film.
“Simbu pleaded me to cast him in AAA. He said that he was almost bankrupt and had no money to even pay to his workers. He promised that he will give his best and ensure that AAA come good. After he was formally signed for the project, he hardly turned up for any discussion. Shooting was impossible for he hardly turned up. On many occasions, we had to pack up for the day without even canning a single shot. Though we paid him the remuneration, he never honoured his commitment. He would turn up at the end of the day with some excuse,” Michael Rayappan further added.
