During a recent interaction with a leading daily, actress Andrea Jeremiah opened up about her upcoming film ‘Taramani’ and said that she has no problems with the controversial drinking scene which irked the certification board. Explaining her stand, the lady said that the scene deals with break up from a female perspective.

“Oh! In films, when couples break up, men get depressed and take to alcohol and sometimes a song accompanies the scene. Here in Taramani, the girl gets drunk after she goes through a love failure. And that’s how the entire film has been made interesting by director,” she added.

Besides this, she spoke about her other big film ‘Vada Chennai’ and said that she will be seen sporting a tanned look in it.

“Yes, I am thrilled being part of a great project like VC. It’s a completely different world, set in North Chennai. I have a tanned makeup and am enjoying every bit of the shoot,” added the actress.

Well, we are happy for Andrea and hope her films do well at the box office.

In case you did not know ‘Taramani’ is touted to be a female-centric drama and will hit screens this week. Besides Andrea, it features Vasanth Ravi in the lead. As far as ‘Vada Chennai’ is concerned, it is a crime-drama and is being directed by Vetrimaaran. Featuring Dhanush in the lead, it is quite an ambitious/high profile film.
