Thalapathy Vijay starrer Sarkar might not have received the expected reviews but the film is doing extremely well at the Box Office. The film which has been directed by AR Murugadoss has hit the controversy over some of the scenes in the film. Despite that Sarkar has managed to earn huge at the Box Office. Sarkar has joined the 100-Crore Gross Worldwide Club in just two days and with this, it becomes the first Vijay film to do so. In some places, the film has managed to set the record that was previously dominated by SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali – The Conclusion.

After a lot of hurdles, the makers are currently on a relief side as Sarkar is doing well at the Box Office. AR Murugadoss, AR Rahman, Vijay, Keerthi Suresh, Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, & lyricist Vivek celebrated the success of the film. AR Rahman shared a couple of pictures of them from the private film’s success party. He also shared a cake-cutting photo with a hand that is lighting a candle on the cake and captioned it as, “Whose hand is this?” Well, its Thalapathy’s hand and fans have already flooded the comments section with the right guess.

AR Murugadoss directed “Sarkar”, a political thriller, hit the screens last week. Ever since its release, many AIADMK ministers and party cadres expressed their displeasure over certain scenes in the film. Several party cadres protested outside various theatres in Tamil Nadu and indulged in damaging the banners of the film and cut-outs of Vijay. They also demanded certain scenes to be removed from the film. Rajinikanth lashed out against these acts. However, things were sorted after the makers screened the edit version of the film.
