Filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s upcoming multi-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (CCV), is one of the anticipated films of the year. The makers recently announced that the movie will hit the theatres on Septemeber 28 and the first look of one of the actors from the film will be revealed soon. Finally, the makers have unveiled the first look of Aravind Swami. The poster sees the actor in an intense and bruised look as Varadan in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The first look of the actor has created quite a buzz on social media and is receiving a positive response from the fans.

The film’s ensemble star cast has Jyothika, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathy, Aravind Swamy, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Rajesh and others. The film reunites Simbu and Jyothika after a gap of 12 years with their last film together was Saravana that came out in 2006.

The music of the film will be composed by maestro A.R.Rahman while the camera will be cranked by Santosh Sivan. The film will be dubbed into Telugu as well and is titled Nawab. Rest of the cast includes prominent actors like Prakash Raj, Thyagarajan, Mansoor Ali Khan and Jaya Sudha. The story of the film is penned by Mani Ratnam and Siva Ananth, who co-wrote the film Sachin – A Billion Dreams.

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is said to be an action thriller in contrary to Mr Ratnam’s genre of movies and is going to set a different path in his style. It is definitely going to be a treat for all Mani Ratnam’s fans to watch the fantastic cast and crew work together. Hope this movie will create another blockbuster and will live upto the high expectations of the audience.
