During a recent interaction with a leading daily, actor Arya opened up about his love for sports and said that he is a big time football enthusiast. He went on to add that he once tore a ligament and got it fixed just so that he could play football again.
“That’s what I grew up playing. Earlier, I had a ligament tear playing football. I got it fixed just to play football again. Then, I tore the ligament on the other leg as well. But that’s no deterrent for me to stop playing football. I watch more number of football matches than movies. I follow all the football leagues.,” he added.
Well, we are happy for Arya and hope that his love for football continues for a long time to come.
Interestingly, the actor will soon be making his Kannada debut with director Anup Bhandari’s ‘Rajaratha’ and adding a new dimension to his career. Speaking about entering Sandalwood, he said that it is important to keep on trying new things as it helps one grow as a performer.
“I am happy that I am not stuck with one industry. You get to know a new language, new people and they get to know you. If you want to grow in any field, you need to widen your range,” he added.
It goes without saying that this is a nice strategy and we hope that it works wonders for Arya. All the best!
