Actor Prasanna had two releases last Friday, one in Telugu – Jawaan – and one in Tamil – Thiruttu Payal 2, and seems to be going through a terrific phase in his career. Prasanna completed 25 films with these two and the actor says that his next 25 films will be much better than his first 25. “I am pleased and hope to land similar projects in both industries,” Prasanna was quoted as saying by New Indian Express. Speaking about his role in Thiruttu Payale 2, Prasanna says, “Every man is a mixture of good and bad. Few people, however, have something extra called evil. The conflict in this film is between bad and evil. A lot of people have told me that my character angered them. That’s the success of a villain. Balakrishnan will be a character people will remember for a long time and it has come at a great time in my career.”

Speaking about being part of multi-starrers like Nibunan and Thiruttu Payale 2, Prasanna says, “Both directors are my close friends and so, I accepted the roles. But I wasn’t really excited, and can’t see myself doing those roles anymore. There’s a lot of freedom with playing villain. But as far as our industry is concerned, I think it’s most beneficial to play hero.” Prasanna will be playing a cop in hius upcoming film and speaking about, the actor says, “I’ll be playing an IPS officer in a film to be directed by Kutti Revathi. We’ll commence shooting from January.
