It was recently announced that Suriya Sivakumar’s upcoming film with director KV Anand will feature Malayalam top star Mohanlal in a key role. And the stars cast seems to be getting bigger and heavier. According to latest reports, Allu Sirish too has been signed on to play an important role in this untitled film of Suriya Sivakumar with KV Anand. “I’d come down to meet Anand sir a few days ago to firm up the details. I’ve already started prepping for my role, and can’t wait to begin shoot,” Sirish was quoted as saying by Times of India. Sirish is said to be playing a pivotal role in this film and will be sharing screen space with Suriya for the first time.

Allu Sirish is a self-confessed fan of Suriya Sivakuamr and has often been vocal about that. “I’ve always said in all my interviews that I like Suriya’s work in Kollywood. So many of his fans have written to me on social media, asking me to work with him. I’m happy this film has materialised,” Sirish added further.

Speaking about his role, Sirish added, “I can reveal nothing about my role except that it’s a well-etched one, and will be seen along with Suriya’s character throughout the film.”

Sirish further says that he has been an admirer of director KV Anand’s work and added, “I’m thankful to Anand sir for giving me this opportunity. He’s been one of my favourite directors, and I’ve seen almost all his films, Ayan, Maattrraan, Anegan, among others. Also, I’d done a film with Mohanlal sir earlier — 1971: Beyond Borders — and I feel honoured to work with him again. It’s going to be an amazing experience, working with great talents.” Sirish was last seen in Okka Kshanam in Telugu which was directed by Vi Anand.
