Kamal Haasan today shared the Tamil trailer of the much awaited reality show Bigg Boss. Kamal, who is excited about his television stint, mentioned that he wishes to bond with the contestants so that they see him more as a friend than a mentor.
In an interview to a leading daily, Kamal spoke about his career, his venture into TV, and how controversies always surround him.
Talking about Bigg Boss he said, “Well. It’s intriguing and it is about human interaction. Besides, I’ve been a judged man all my life, so it’s nice to be in a judging position.”
He added, “I’ve always believed in speaking my mind and I think the technology has made it more prominent. Even a common man’s voice is heard prominently now much to the chagrin and surprise of politicians. They aren’t used to that.”
When asked if he would like to spread any social messages via Bigg Boss, he said, ” Maybe. I am not a messenger but I would like to–through Big Boss–let them know what I think of life and it might be right it might be wrong. But who knows? Every day is a learning experience.”
Kamal had recently commented about Salman Khan‘s hosting style saying, “Salman genuinely bonds with the contestants on Bigg Boss. There is no pretension or patronising in his attitude. Being friendly comes naturally to him. And he gives advice as a friend, not as a mentor.”
The show will kick-start from June 25. The reality show will have 14 contestants from different lives of the society and will lock horns for 100 days in the Bigg Boss house.
