Are you a fan of the much-loved Vikram? If yes, then we have some awesome news in store for you. In an exciting development, his latest release ‘Sketch’ seems to have done pretty decent business at the Chennai box office over its first weekend. At the end of three days, its collections stand at Rs 1.4 crore. While ‘Sketch’ did average business on day 1 and day 2, things picked up on Sunday. Considering the fact that it has received mixed reviews from critics, it will be worth watching whether it is able to hold its own at the box office in the days to come.

In case you did not know, ‘Sketch’ is a heist-thriller and has been directed by Vijay Chander. Besides Vikram, it also features Tamannaah in the lead. Sometime ago, the director had said that women will aspire to be like her character.

“Tamannaah plays Ammu, a girl-next-door, and she shares a beautiful relationship with Vikram. Romance is very intrinsic to the script and their chemistry is very relatable. Their characters kind of complement each other. I can say that women who see the film would want to be like Ammu,” he had added.

On a related note, with ‘Sketch’ in theatres, Vikram will turn his attention to ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’. The film is a spy-thriller and has been directed by Gautham Menon. In it, he will be seen alongside Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma. Besides ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, he also has ‘Saamy Square’ in his kitty. In the action-drama, he will be seen opposite the fast-rising Keerthy Suresh.

As far as Tamannaah is concerned, she currently has ‘Naa Nuvve’ in her kitty. In the romantic-drama, she will be seen alongside Kalyan Ram.
