During a recent interaction with a leading news agency, actor Dhanush opened up about his maiden Hollywood film ‘The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir’ and said that shooting for it was a terrific experience for him. He went on to add that sharing screen space with French-Argentine star Bérénice Bejo made him feel ‘blessed’.
“Now Bérénice Bejo is doing it. I can’t ask for more. It has been great journey from where I have started to where I am today. I am really blessed with God’s grace,” he added.
Besides this, the actor stated that Indian films have become a global phenomenon now. And, as a result, stars get a lot of exposure these days.
“The world has become smaller now. The exposure is much wider… Go to any country, city or continent, they know Bollywood films. So, it’s really nice that means everyone is watching everything,” added Dhanush.
Well, we truly are happy for the 33-year-old and hope that he continues finding success in whatever he does.
On a related note, Dhanush is currently gearing up for the release of the eagerly-awaited ‘VIP 2’. An action-comedy, it is a sequel to the 2014 release ‘VIP’ and has been directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth. Besides Dhanush, it features Kajol and Amala Paul in the lead. Interestingly, it marks Kajol’s return to Tamil cinema after a hiatus of 20 years. She was last seen in the 1997 release ‘Minsara Kanavu’. We hope that ‘VIP 2’ proves to be a good comeback vehicle for her. All the best!
