Actor-producer Dhanush, who is basking in the success of his latest release VIP 2, says he might work with his brother Selvaraghavan with who he had delivered many hits in the past like Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai and Mayakkam Enna. Dhanush says that many assume that he has distanced himself from his brother but it is not true. Dhanush, in fact, says that he might collaborate with Selvaraghavan in 2018 and script works are in progress.

People think I have distanced myself from my brother. It’s not true. We space out the gap between our films… We have been planning to work together and it might happen next year,” Dhanush told a leading news agency. Dhanush also says that they haven’t yet locked a script but are working on it.

Once he has the script ready, we will find time and get to work. I’m looking forward to collaborate with him,” Dhanush added further. Asked if the rumours about Pudhupettai 2 were true, Dhanush said, “The idea is definitely in the pipeline. Selva Sir needs to lock the script and once it’s done, we would think about working on that project.”

Dhanush recently wrapped up shooting for his Hollywood debut film “The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir” and will commence work on Maari 2. Dhanush will also shoot for Vada Chennai and Ennai Nokki Paayum Thota in his kitty.

Speaking about Maari 2, Dhanush added, “Except Kajal Aggarwal, the rest of the cast has been retained for the second part. The film will start from where the first part was left.”
