Dhanush plays a National-Level Carroms player in Vada Chennai

According to latest reports, Dhanush will be seen playing a National-Level Carroms player and his character is named Anbu.

Actor Dhanush has numerous projects on his plate – Kaala as a producer and Vada Chennai and Enai Nokki Paayum Thota as a lead actor. While Kaala is slated to hit the screens on April 27th, 2018 worldwide, Vada Chennai and Enai Nokki Paayum Thota are yet to be confirmed. Vada Chennai will be set in a rustic backdrop and will have North Madras as part of the theme. The shooting of the film was recently wrapped up and the makers recently announced that the first look of the film will be out on March 8th, 2018. And just a day before, few pictures of Dhanush from the sets and an interesting news about Vada Chennai have emerged. According to latest reports, Dhanush will be seen playing a National-Level Carrom player and his character is named Anbu. Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen playing a role called Padma while Samuthirakani plays Guna and Andrea Jeremiah will be portraying a character named Chandra. Couple of photos of actor Dhanush from Vada Chennai are going viral in various social media platforms and has created much excitement around the film.

Vada Chennai stars Aishwarya Rajesh as the leading lady of the film. Speaking about her role, Aishwarya had said that she would be seen playing a girl from North Chennai. “The film will have my looks ranging from my school and college days, to me as a teacher and a married woman. It is going to be a different film for me. The character I play is that of a local girl. By local, I mean, a complete north Madras girl. From the body language to the way she speaks and her accent, girls from that locality will easily relate to my character. It’s also a multi-starrer film,” Aishwarya had said a while ago. Speaking about working with Dhanush, Aishwarya said that it was a terrific experience working with him.
