During a recent interaction with a leading daily, director Ram revealed that—contrary to what is being rumoured—he will not be collaborating with superstar Vikram in the near future. He went on to add that he really doesn’t know how the rumour started.
“I really don’t know where these rumours come from,” he added.
Besides this, he also spoke about his Tamil-Malayalam bilingual ‘Peranbu’ and said that it is currently in the post-production stage and boasts of some impressive songs. Ram went on to state that the Mammootty starrer revolves around the father-daughter relationship.
“Post-production work is on, and the songs have come out well. As with all my films, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this also. My next film will also have Yuvan doing the background score and music. The film talks about a father-daughter relationship and is a play on human emotions,” he added.
On a related note, this is a wonderful phase for Ram on the professional front. His latest release ‘Taramani’ opened to a good response at the box office some time ago and helped him add another dimension to his career.
As far as Vikram is concerned, he currently has ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ in his kitty. The film is touted to be a spy-thriller and has been directed by Gautham Menon. In it, he will be seen alongside Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma. Besides this, he also has ‘Sketch’ in his kitty. The film is an action-comedy and also features Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead.
