I don’t get paid to act in real life and so I’m simple, says Rajinikanth at 2.0 press meet in Dubai

Makers of director Shankar’s upcoming film 2.0 are ensuring that the film has the biggest release, not just in India, but worldwide too. The audio launch of 2.0 will happen in Dubai today, October 27th, 2017 and the lead actors including Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson along with director Shankar interacted with the media ahead of the event. Speaking at the press meet director Shankar said that he wants 2.0 to known as Indian film and not as a Tamil film. Shankar also says that the film be a revolution in India for the 3D format and will inspire many other filmmakers to use 3D technology.

Super Star Rajinikanth was also asked few questions and the star answered them in the best way possible. But what made the media personnel applaud was an answer by superstar which came in as a surprise. Rajinikanth was asked the reason behind his simple lifestyle in real life to which the Superstar replied, “Nobody pays me to act in my real life, so I’m simple.” This received loud cheers from the media group and was applauded by everyone present there.

Rajinikanth will be playing robotic scientist Vaseegaran and the Robo ‘Chitti’ in 2.0 which is said to be a sequel of the 2010 release ‘Enthiran’. Bollywood top actor Akshay Kumar will be making his debut in Tamil cinema with 2.0 and will be seen playing the antagonist in the film. It is being said that Akshay’s role in 2.0 will be first-of-its-kind in Indian cinema and will be the most fierce looking character.
