The latest song by Anirudh Ravichander Kalyana Vayasu has crossed 5 million views on digital platforms and is being crooned by Tamil movie buffs. From the movie Kolamavu Kokila, Kalyana Vayasu features Yogi Babu and Nayanthara in it with the former wooing her throughout the and proposing marriage to her. The video became the fastest to hit 5 million views and has been receiving a lot of love from all around. However, a section of audience seems to be unhappy with Anirudh Ravichander. Reason – the tune is a rip off from a song by Sannan titled Don’t Lie. Fans of Tamil movies are unhappy with Anirudh Ravichander for using the same tune and orchestration of Sannan’s Don’t Lie for Kalyana Vayasu and are posting messages expressing their disappointment over it. Many are even posting comparison videos of Kalyana Vayasu and Sannan’s Don’t Live. And this is not the first time that this has happened to Anirudh Ravichander. Even in the past, fans of the music composer expressed displeasure for coming up with tunes which are similar to many English pop songs.

The song, Kalyana Vayasu, is sung and composed by young music sensation Anirudh Ravichander and the lyrics are penned down by actor-producer Sivakarthikeyan. The song is a catchy number but what has caught attention of everyone is the acts by Yogi Babu in the song to woo Nayanthara. The lyrics portray a situation where Yogi Babu is forced by his family to get married soon and many beautiful girls in his neighbourhood are falling for him as the day passes. Yogi Babu also confesses his love to Nayanthara saying despite all the pressure on him to get married, she is the one he wishes to get married to.
