The social media has indeed changed the world as we know it . Social media platforms have helped celebrities/stars interact with their fans directly and strengthen their bond with them. In addition to this, such platforms have also made it easier for movie goers to access information about their favourite stars and know more about them.
However, on the flip side, the social media is synonymous with rumours. And, recently a rumour about noted filmmaker P Vasu’s unfortunate death began doing the rounds. And, as expected, this left his well-wishers heartbroken. Now, the ace filmmaker has put all such rumours to rest. He just issued a statement and made it clear that he is perfectly fine and will be working on three films in 2018.
“I came back home after completing 6 km walk at the gym and I saw the message. First, I laughed at it. But, I was glad to know so many people have such affection for me. I thank everyone for their concern. I’m doing very good and I’m very healthy. And I will be directing three films this year,” he added.
Well, we are happy to know that P Vasu is healthy and wish him good luck for his upcoming films.
In case you did not know, P Vasu has work in all four Southern industries. ‘Hongi Pyaar Ki Jeet’ is his sole Hindi film. The 2005 release ‘Chandramukhi’ is arguably one of the biggest films of his career. A horror-thriller, it featured Rajinikanth in the lead and helped him bounce back in style. It featured Jyothika in the titular role.
P Vasu’s last directorial venture was ‘Shivalinga’ which hit screens in 2017 and had Raghava Lawrence in the lead. It was a remake of his own Kannada film ‘Shivalinga’ which had Shivarajkumar in the lead.
