The festive season of Dussehra began with a bang after Jr NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa hit the screens last week and is going great guns worldwide. The collections of the film have only amplified over the weekend and is the biggest release in South Indian cinema this season. The current week will now witness another mania – Super Mahesh Babu’s Spyder. Spyder is being released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, and will be the Super Star’s debut in Tamil.

Besides Spyder, there are few other movies that will be hitting the screens this week. Let’s take a look at the films that are releasing this week:

Super Mahesh Babu’s biggest release in his career – Spyder – will be hitting the screens on September 27th, 2017 worldwide and has already earned a huge amount from the pre-release business. The US premieres have earned a collection of approximately $550k already and the post release numbers are expected to be a staggering number.

Actor Sharwanand is one of the few actors in Telugu cinema who doesn’t step back from releasing his films even though there are quite a few big films releasing along with his. Last time he did that with Shatamana Bhavati and the film did great at the box office and also won a National Award, which proves why his belief in content of the film is supreme. And this time, he has Mahanubhavudu releasing along with other big films which is about a guy with OCD for cleanliness. The ditrector, Maruthi along with Sharwanand seem to be very confident about the film.

Hara Hara Mahadevaki:

Starring Gautham Karthi and Nikki Galrani in the lead roles, Hara Hara Mahadevaki is an adult comedy genre film which is creating quite a buzz in Tamil cinema. The film has been in the news ever since the trailer of the film was released and will now be hitting the big screens on September 29th, 2017. The cast and crew of the film seem quote kicked about the film and have been promoting the film quite actively for the last few days.

Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in a new role altogether in Karuppan which is directed by R. Paneerselvam and is said to be an action thriller. Also starring Bobby Simha in an important role, Karuppan seems to have a strong connection with Jallikattu and will have Vijay Sethupathi playing the role of bull tamer. Karuppan is expected to open to a decent release given the kind of stardom Vijay Sethupathi has and the buzz the film has created with its trailers and teasers.

Directed by Arun Gopy, Ramleela was initially supposed to be released on July 7th, 2017 but was delayed due to post-production works. But after Dileep’s arrest on July 10th, 2017, the release of the film was postponed for unknown reasons. Ramleela will now see the light of the day and will be releasing on September 29th, 2017.
