First look of Dhanush starrer Vada Chennai is out now

Actor Dhanush’s Vada Chennai has created a huge buzz amongst fans in the last couple of days after few photos from the shooting spots of the film have gone viral on social media. Actors Dhanush, Aishwaraya Rajesh and Andrea Jeremiah are seen in rustic looks in these photos from Vada Chennai which has created an excitement around it. And to add to the excitement, the makers have now revealed the first look poster of the Vada Chennai which gives us a glimpse of the kind of characters the lead actors would be playing in it. Dhanush released the first look poster of Vada Chennai today via his social networking pages which is now going viral on various social networking platforms. Directed by Vetrimaaran, the story of Vada Chennai will have a North Madras theme to it and all the characters would be seen sporting simple looks. The release date of Vada Chennai is yet to be confirmed by the makers but is expected to be released sometime in May.

Reports were doing rounds that Dhanush may be seen playing a gangster in Vada Chennai and the character will be an aggressive one. However, latest reports reveal that Dhanush will be playing a carrom player at the National level in Vada Chennai and his character is named Anbu. Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen playing a role called Padma while Samuthirakani plays Guna and Andrea Jeremiah will be portraying a character named Chandra. Couple of photos of actor Dhanush from Vada Chennai are going viral in various social media platforms and has created much excitement around the film.

The music of Vada Chennai is being rendered by Santosh Narayanan while the cinematography is handled by Velraj. Vada Chennai is being jointly produced by Dhanush and Subaskaran. Dhanush and Vetrimaaran have previously worked on more than couple of films like Kodi, Aadukalam and Polladhavan to name a few.
