There can be no denying that Arvind Swamy is one of most versatile and charming talents in the Southern film industry today. Ever since bursting on to the scene with the 1991 release ‘Roja’, this much-loved actor has every now and then impressed audiences with his gripping performances, good looks and impressive screen presence. Moreover, he has proved that he is a gentleman in the truest sense of the word.
Now, there is some good news in store for his well-wishers. According to a daily, the makers of his eagerly-awaited ‘Naragasooran’ will release the first look on the film on June 18 which happens to be the star’s birthday. Now, isn’t that some awesome news folks? It seems that June 18 will be a day of double celebration for Swamy and his fans.
In case you did not know, ‘Naragasooran’ is touted to be an intense drama and features a cool tagline ‘Tale of a fallen demon’. Besides Swami, it stars ,Shriya Saran and Sundeep Kishan in the lead,
Interestingly, Kishan’s role was originally offered to Telugu star Naga Chaitnaya. Ho9wever, he backed out of the film citing ‘date issues’. Explaining his exit, director Naren Karthick had said that he was forced to leave the film courtesy a packed schedule.
“He explained that he is busy with other commitments. We are still in good terms and would love to collaborate in the future,” he had added.
On a related note, Swamy was last seen in the supernatural-thriller ‘Bogan’ which opened to a decent response at the ticket window, At present, besides ‘Naragasooran’, he has ‘Bhaskar Oru Rascal’ and ‘Vanangamudi’ in his kitty.
