In an exciting development, the motion poster of her ‘Garjanai’ has been released and it is quite shocking. Now that’s how you make an impact!

In case you did not know, ‘Garjanai’ is an official remake of ‘NH 10’. In it, Trisha will be seen essaying the character played by Anushka Sharma in the original. Besides her, ‘Garjanai’ also features Vamsi Krishna and Amit Bharghav in the lead. Interestingly, the original Hindi film revolved around issues such as crimes against women and honour killing. Judging by the poster, the remake is going to be pretty faithful to ‘NH 10’. NH 10’s success had helped Anushka prove her mettle as a performer. If the remake too fares well, it could go a long way in adding a new dimension to Trisha’s career.

On a related note, this is a busy time for Trisha. Besides ‘Garjanai’, she also has ‘96’ and ‘Hey Jude’ in her kitty. The film is touted to be a romantic-drama and also features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead.
