Gautham Vasudev Menon is a busy man with a lot of films under his belt. While he is directing Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram currently, he will also be acting in a brief role in ‘Goli Soda 2’. There are also reports doing rounds that the filmmaker is planning a multi-lingual film in all the four South Indian languages. Reports have been doing rounds that Gautham Menon has roped in Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia for the film and he is still on the lookout for the lead actors for the film. Latest reports are now suggesting that Kannada top star Puneeth Rajkumar has been roped in for this yet to be titled film.
According to a report in HT, Puneeth Rajkumar has been signed on for this film which is said to be a slice-of -life subject and will be on the lines of Bollywood hits ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is also said to have been signed for this film and apparently the actor has already been paid an advance for the film. “This project requires primary stars from all the four southern industries. Hence, it’s taking time to materialize. I’ve already been paid and I’m on board,” the report quoted Prihtviraj Sukumaran as saying. The shooting of the film may begin in 2018 after the release of ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, reports indicate.
With such interesting subject and heavy star cast, this surely will be the most waited for in South Indian cinema and fans of the ace filmmaker will be quite excited about it.
