G V Prakash has been a busy man ever since he turned to acting. He has worked on close to 10 films and has more than five films under his belt. His latest film Bruce Lee with Kriti Kharbanda had an average run at the box office and the response from the audience was not pleasing either. Prakash seems to be unfazed by the failure and focusing on his next projects. After several discussions, the actor has zeroed in on his next film which will be a remake of a Telugu hit film.
Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada featuring Nikhil Siddhartha, Hebah Patel and Nanditha Swetha is being remade in Tamil, and GV Prakash has been roped in to play the lead role in the film. The film will be directed by Ezhil whose latest release Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran with Vishnu Vishal was a hit. Speaking to a leading daily G V Prakash said, “Yes, I will be acting under Ezhil sir’s direction for the first time in my career.” The project will be funded by Escape Artists Motion Pictures and an official announcement will be made out soon. Reports suggest that the script work in progress currently for the film and the final draft should be ready by the end of March.
Ezhil is currently working on Saravanan Iruka Bayamen which has Udayanidhi Stalin playing the lead role. The post-production of the film is underway and Ezhil will start his work on the remake of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada. The music of the film will be composed by G V Prakash himself.
Alike the Telugu version, hope the remake of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada will also be a hit and G V Prakash gets a boost to his career.
