There was a time when the actors dominated the screen space and the heroines played the sidekick. But now, those are the days of the past as more and more scripts are penned bearing the heroines in mind. Young directors take the bold and brave path of glorifying the role of the heroines with precision. Young filmmaker U.R.Jameel has penned a script for Hansika Motwani. The crime thriller with the music composed by Ghibran is titled ‘Maha’, a powerful title by any terms. Hansika is currently prepping up for her role in the film.
In a recent interview to Times of India, Hansika Motwani spoke about the transformation of her career journey from child artist to a popular actress. She said, “I am very ambitious. I always knew that I would do well and be a successful heroine. That’s because I put in hard work to get my part right. That’s probably why I am getting to choose from some really good scripts, including heroine-centric ones. I always knew that I will reach a landmark in my career. I always knew that I will reach a landmark in my career. I will do bigger and better film.”
Talking about her 50th film, Hansika said, “I am really excited. Fifty films is a milestone in my career and I hope it turns out to be as big as the hype is (laughs) Maha is a female-centric film, and this is the first time I am doing something like this. It’s different from what I have been offered before and different from what I have chosen so far, and I am really looking forward to it.”
