After Kaala, Rajinikanth has geared up with the shooting of his next film directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film is a talk of the town since a very long time and fans have been eagerly waiting for superstar’s first look from the film. Finally, the makers have made a big announcement. The title and the first motion poster of the film will be unveiled today evening at 6 and fans can’t keep calm. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha.

On teaming up with Rajinikanth, Subbaraj had said in a chat with Sun TV: “Even though I’ve made four films in my career so far, I grew fascinated towards cinema because of superstar Rajinikanth sir. To get to direct him is the best moment of my life,” Subbaraj said, adding that he plans to go on the floors in next two months and wrap up the project this year itself. Asked if the project will be as ambitious as Sun Pictures produced Enthiran in terms of scale, Subbaraj said his film will be quite different from Enthiran. “It’ll be a proper Rajini film,” he said. He also sees collaborating with the superstar will come with its set of expectations and high responsibility. “I see it as an enjoyable challenge.”

The first schedule of the film kick-started in Dehradun. Rajinikanth-Karthik Subbaraj’s film is already garnering huge buzz among film buffs. It is one of the much-awaited films of the next year. The action sequences have been choreography by the stunt master Peter Heins. After the first schedule, the makers will head to Chennai for the second schedule of the shoot. Reportedly, the team will shoot some important scenes featuring Rajinikanth. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the film also features Simran, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bobby Simha.
