Imaikka Nodigal is currently the focal point of Tamil film circles after the makers released the trailer today in Chennai at an event. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, Imaika Nodigal is a crime thriller that stars Nayanthara, Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Atharvaa Murali and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. The trailer of Imaikka Nodigal, released today, impresses with its intriguing premise and the way the characters are etched. Nayanthara plays a cop who is chasing a psycho killer, played by Anurag Kashyap. Nayanthara ends up in a critical situation during the investigation and her family too faces the brunt of the situation.

Anurag Kashyap as the psycho killer keeps you interested for as long as he is on the screen while Nayanthara, as a cop, is totally impressive. The Lady Superstar, as crowned by her fans, just seems to be getting better with each film. Young actor Atharvaa Murali comes up with his best in this while Raashi Khanna is gorgeous as Atharvaa’s love interest in the plot. The surprise in Imaikka Nodigal comes in the form of Vijay Sethupathi who is seen playing Nayanthara’s husband and an extended cameo in the film.  Being a thriller, background score plays a key role in creating an impact on viewers and who better than Hiphop Tamizha for this department of a film. While the visuals play their own magic, the sounds and the background score have equal impact and leave us asking for more.

Ajay Gnanamuthu, who made an impressive with Demonte colony, creates a great impression with Imaikka Nodigal and the film seems be another interesting flick on cards. The director surely knows how to keep the audience intrigued with the screenplay and the premise.
