The much-anticipated gangster drama, Kaala starring superstar Rajinikanth has finally released today at the Box Office. Amid a lot of controversy and opposition from pro-Kannada groups, Kaala has made it ways to the theatres. Rajinikanth’s statement on the Cauvery river water row created a huge problem for the film. Karnataka Film Chambers of Commerce decided that Rajinikanth’s film Kaala will be banned in Karnataka.
While the film released amid a lot of security in the state today morning, the protesters have managed to stop the screening at Sri Balaji Theatre in Vivek Nagar in Bengaluru. The protesters are trying their best to halt the screening of Kaala. Reportedly, the protesters are threatening the theater owners and the police that if any tickets of the film are sold, they will get to the violence. Due to which, the screening at various places has been stopped.

Meanwhile, state Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy said it was not advisable to screen the film after Rajinikanth’s views on the sensitive issue of Cauvery. “I have not got the court order yet. We respect the order and will comply with it as a responsible government. As a Kannadiga, however, my advice is to avoid screening the film to prevent any untoward incident and trouble to the people,” he told reporters before the release.

I would say #kaala is worse than Kabali . Nothing new, the story itself is ancient with old shots and scenes. #KaalaReview I like the romantic portion between Eswari rao and Rajini
