The much-loved Kajal Aggarwal is currently gearing up to begin the shoot of Paris Paris, which is the official Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit ‘Queen’. And, needless to say, she is quite happy about being part of the film. During a recent chat with a leading daily, the diva said ‘Paris Paris’ will be quite a challenging experience as—unlike her onscreen character—she is not a naïve individual at all. Kajal went on to add that she has had plenty of exposure to the way the world works courtesy her parents.
“It’s going to be a big challenge for me to be that naive because my upbringing has been quite different. I’ve had a lot of exposure to the world, thanks to my family. And my friends, extended family have always been very supportive. For the character that I play in the film, she’s from a simple background who hasn’t seen the world yet. It’s going to be a challenge. I have to be as naive as I possibly can…this has got nothing to do with innocence. That comes naturally to me, but not naivety,” she added.
Well, we wish Kajal the very best and hope that she impresses her fans with her act in ‘Paris Paris’. On a related note, this is a busy time for Kajal. At present, besides the Queen remake, she also has ‘Mersal’ and ‘MLA’. ‘MLA’ is touted to be a drama and also has Kalyan Ram in the lead. On the other hand, Mersal is touted to be an action-drama and also has Vijay in the lead.
So, do you feel that Kajal is the right choice for Paris Paris? Comments, please!
