Actor, director, producer and now a television host Kamal Haasan has been taking on the political leaders of state of Tamil Nadu lately and has been making some strong statements against them. The actor has been very vocal against the political proceedings and has said that the state is filled with corruption more than any other state in India. And recently at a wedding in Coimbatore, Kamal Haasan has urged his fans and citizens of Tamil Nadu to gear up for a march up to the ‘fort’.

We will carry on with our work now. But we will march towards the fort (Fort St George) when right time comes,” said Kamal Haasan interacting with his fans there. “This is not a wedding ceremony, but inaugural ceremony of our political journey,” Mr. Haasan added further.

Kamal Haasan also added some hard-hitting statements during his speech which might create some ripples in the political circles of Tamil Nadu. “We had allowed looters into the corridors of power after getting bribed for votes. You have committed a mistake by doing that. But we cannot let the political situation remain as it is now, it is our duty to transform it,” Kamal said further.

This probably is for the first time that Kamal Haasan has spoken at a public gathering about the ruling political party in TN and taking them on. He has, however, been active on his social networking page about politics and voicing out his views about the political situation in the state.

Obviously Tamil Nadu needs change of leaders. We need strong characters, we have seen DMK’s past tarnished politics, they are not reliable. We are seeing the present goons playing the ground, they have become laughing clowns. We need new blood in the political arena! Sincerely waiting for Kamal to start a political party. We wish him success

As a Malaysian of Indian origin, i love India in all its forms. I love tje sights, sounds and smells of India, a nation filled with democracy in the hearts of the people. And that is precisely why those in Tamil Nadu can express themselves so eloquently. We, the Indians in Malaysia are treated like dirt unless we are Muslims. We too have been cheated, jailed for fighting fir our rights, and threatened to keep voting for the kleptocratic government of PM Najib Razak. How we admire you Tamillians …. please don’t sell your vote ever again. God bless all of youbamd Mr Kamalhasan.

Allow me share my view points on the ruling of Tamilnadu and the Tamilians in general. The fundamental reasons for the chaotic state Tamilnadu government is now and the free for all power struggle within the party members and factions are all due to complacent mindset of Tamilians .
All these years in Tamilnadu since it’s existence the Tamilians have not or never been cooperative and United in the struggle. They are still very much with divided between various groups based on caste, clans, wealth and class divisions. The rich and powerful people use and exploit the lower ranks who comprises of villagers, people in the poverty group , lower income groups and lower caste people to their maximum advantage. So there us no active participation of these people in deciding the right and capable politicians in the ruling Cabinet as CM and ministers. The wealthy and powerful are the king makers. These wealthy and powerful people they only has money and power to become ministers to make more money and wealth through their power. The poor and village do not think smartly and wisely because they just simply cannot. They are being abused and made silent by cheap illicit drinks and little money. This is trend and tactics used by so called politicians since the early days till today. As a result till today these baboons run Tamilnadu very much like a circus. The Tamilians must change their mindset, mentality and think wisely to make self decision boldly not under the influence of drink and money.

The biggest mistake that you will make in life is believing that governments act in the public interest.
