Actor Kamal Haasan celebrates his birthday today, November 7th, and fans of the actor have been expecting to hear great news from the actor regarding his impending political entry. Kamal Haasan has, however, clearly stated there will be no birthday celebrations and it will be just another day for him, via a Twitter post. Kamal Haasan held a press meet in Chennai today and announced that he will be launching an app that will be a platform for common man to report about incidents. Kamal said that it will be a whistle-blower and will be called ‘Maiam Whistle’.

Speaking at the press meet said, “My dream is to make Tamil Nadu a state with maximum virtuous cycle. I will take a tour of Tamil Nadu to understand people’s problems. Also, I will launch a new app called ‘Maiam Whistle’.” Kamal Haasan also added that the groundwork on his political party has already started and he is working with experts on figuring out the party details. The actor also added that naming the party at this stage is irrelevant and he is happy with the progress so far.

Kamal Haasan made an important point that his political party will not bring onboard people who have had corruption practices or cases in the past. “Politicians who have done corruption in the past won’t be allowed to join in my party. The whistle-blower app can also be used against me in case I come to power in future,” said Kamal Haasan at the press meet.
