There can be no denying that Kamal Haasan is one of the most respected names in Southern cinema today. During his highly successful career, the much-loved star has impressed all and sundry thanks to his enviable body of work and charismatic personality. Moreover, he has won the respect of movie buffs courtesy his outspoken nature. Now, the veteran actor-filmmaker is in the limelight for a rather sweet reason.

As it so happens, a young kid from Poland recently recorded his own version of a popular number from Haasan’s Telugu movie ‘Sagara Sangamam’ and asked the star to give his views on the rendition.

“Hi Mr. Kamal Haasan. If this tweet reaches you, please give me your impressions. My favourite song among your films. I tried my best,” he tweeted.

Believe it or not, the ‘Hey Ram’ star took note of his tweet and responded to the kid. In his heart-warming tweet, he thanked the kid for liking the song.

“Many kids sing this in Telugu. You’re special. Thanks for liking this song. India has 15 lovely languages. Welcome to diversity,” he added.

Needless to say, the kid was elated to receive a response from Haasan himself and thanked him profusely.

“Thank you SIR for your reply… Am on cloudy 9,” he posted.

On a related note, this is an eventful time for Haasan. He is currently gearing up to host the Tamil version of ‘Bigg Boss’. In addition to this, he has two major films in his kitty. They are ‘Saabash Naidu’ and ‘Vishwaroopam 2’.
