Kamal Haasan confirms that he will host the Tamil version of Bigg Boss

Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is arguably one of the most outspoken individuals in Southern cinema today. And, of late, he has been pretty vocal in his criticism of the Tamil Nadu government. In fact, sometime ago, he had expressed his views on the double taxation issue facing Tamil cinema and highlighted how corruption was rampant in the state. Needless to say, his views did not go down well with members of the political fraternity and some politicians lashed out at him. As it so happens, this upset his fans and they put up posters in his support. Now, Haasan has addressed the situation. He recently took to twitter and urged his fans to stop putting up posters in his support. He went on to add that he knew how to deal with such criticism.

“I need my fans for greater service. I am enough to fend them off. Do not waste time and money on posters. Please take this debate higher,” he added.

Well, this is quite a sincere plea and we hope that it has the desired effect.

On a related note, this is a busy time for Haasan. He is currently hosting the Tamil version of Bigg Boss and making quite an impact. In addition to this, he has two films in his kitty namely ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ and ‘Sabaash Naidu’. Sabaash Naidu is a spy-comedy and also features Shruti Haasan in the lead. On the other hand, ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ is a spy-thriller and is being directed by Haasan himself.
