Kamal Haasan takes a dig at Tamil Nadu minister

Kamal Haasan is arguably one of the most outspoken stars in the Tamil film industry today. And, of late, he has been ripping apart the current Tamil Nadu government for allegedly indulging in corruption. In fact, some time ago, he had gone to the extent of saying that the state has become a hub of corruption. Not surprisingly, this has led to speculation of him joining politics in the near future. During a recent interaction with a popular website, Haasan said that he believes in speaking extempore and does the same even on his show ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’. He went on to add that, in a way, he considers himself to be a ‘political animal’.

“I speak entirely extempore. Not a word is rehearsed. That’s the political animal within me.,” he added.

Besides this, the National award winner also said that he has never said no to politics but may never support any particular party.

“When did I say no to politics? But if by joining active politics you are asking me to become a part of any particular political party then the answer is , no. That apart, I’ve been a political animal from the day I was born,” he added.

Well, these are some strong comments and could create a buzz in the industry. On the professional front, Haasan currently has ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ and ‘Sabaash Naidu’ in his kitty. ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ is touted to be spy-thriller and a sequel to ‘Vishwaroopam’. On the other hand, ‘Sabaash Naidu’ is a spy-comedy and also features Shruti Haasan in the lead.
