Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is arguably one of the most outspoken individuals in the Tamil film industry today. And of late, he has been making several hard-hitting comments about the political situation in Tamil Nadu. Sometime ago, he had lashed out at the government over the double taxation issue and said Tamil Nadu was becoming the hub of corruption.
Now, Haasan has once again made a strong yet cryptic statement about the current situation. In a hard-hitting tweet, he said that he is not against one party but against corruption.
“Am against corruption. I am not against A party All guilty of it I revolt against Revolutionists are not afraid of death or failure. Are u?” he added.
While this tweet can be interpreted in many ways, it’s pretty clear that Haasan is not happy about the current political situation in Tamil Nadu. As such, an entry into politics could indeed be on the cards.
Interestingly, recently while talking about Haasan and Rajinikanth potentially entering politics, actor-turned-politician Vijayakanth said that he had no problems with them entering politics.
“If they wish to enter politics, let them do as they please. What bothers me? Let them even come with 4 other film stars too, I fear no one. So if they want to come to politics, let them be one among the thousands who seek votes visiting every house,” he had said.
On a related note, this is a busy time for Haasan. At present, he has two films in his kitty. They are ‘Sabaash Naidu’ and ‘Vishwaroopam 2’. Moreover, he is currently busy hosting ‘Bigg Boss’.
