Former politician and actress J Jayalalithaa will always be remembered for her strong appearances and charisma. Ever since Jayalalithaa’s demise, there has been a lot of speculations on who can play her on the big screen, ever if a biopic is being made on her. Recently, reports were doing rounds that actress Keerthy Suresh might play Tamil Nadu former chief minister Jayalalithaa in a biopic film. Keerthy recently impressed everyone with her role as legendary actress Savitri in her recently released film ‘Nadigayar Thilagam’ (Mahanati in Telugu). The rumours of her playing the lead in Jayalalithaa biopic were doing rounds even before Nadigayar Thilagam released.
Finally, the actress reacts to the rumours. Keerthy Suresh recently visited Tirupati to offer prayers where few media people questioned her if she is doing another biopic on Jayalalithaa. Putting an end to all the rumours, the actress made it clear that she hasn’t signed any biopic yet.
Last year, after Jayalalitha had passed away, an interview of her to Simi Garewal in 1999, had gone viral. During the interview, Jayalalithaa had said that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be suitable to play her on screen.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK’s undisputed leader Jayaram Jayalalitha passed away in Chennai’s Apollo Hospital on December 5, 2016. She was 68.
Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh has now joined the sets of the Vijay – AR Murugadoss film, currently dubbed as Thalapathy 62. The makers are currently shooting for the second schedule in Chennai. After Chennai, the makers will fly to the USA for the next schedule. There are a lot of expectations from Thalapathy 62 as the combination of Vijay and Murugadoss has set the bar very high.
Thalapathy 62 marks the second association of Vijay and Keerthy, after 2017’s Bairavaa. The Sun Pictures’ production venture also stars actors like Varalaxmi, Radha Ravi, and Yogi Babu in crucial roles. The film is expected to release this year in Diwali.
