Keerthy Suresh to play a cameo in Sivakarthikeyan and Samantha Akkineni starrer Seema Raja

The director also adds that it was his friendship with Keerthy Suresh that helped him make her agree to the cameo in Seema Raja.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan will next be seen in Ponram directorial Seema Raja which is said to have a rural background to it. According to reports, the shooting of the film is said to be completed 80% and the makers are are now looking to finish the songs. And according to latest buzz, the makers have roped in Keerthy Suresh for a cameo who is on a career high after the tremondous success of Mahanati in Telugu. Keerthy Suresh is said to have finished her cameo part in Seema Raja already. “We’d never planned for a cameo. This was an impromptu decision, and we are happy that Keerthy immediately agreed to come on board. She will be seen in two scenes, the shooting of which were completed in one day,” director Ponram was quoted as saying by Times of India. The director also adds that it was his friendship with Keerthy Suresh that helped him make her agree to the cameo in Seema Raja.

Speaking about Keerthy’s role in Seema Raja, Ponram says,”Her character in this film is not something that she has essayed already. But it is true that she makes an entry towards the end — I don’t want to reveal much as it may spoil the suspense element.

Seema Raja will also feature Samantha Akkineni in the other lead role and will be the first time Sivakarthikeyan will be pairing up with the gorgeous actress. Seema Raja is being produced by 24 AM Studios and has music by D.Imman. Veteran actor Simran would also be seen playing an important role in Seema Raja. The shooting of the film is completed and the makers have now begun post production works of Seema Raja. The works began with a ceremony at the Le Magic Lantern studio in Chennai and the dubbing works of the film for Tamil and Telugu have begun recently.
