In 2017, the much-loved Keerthy Suresh added a new dimension to her career when she acted opposite superstar Vijay in ‘Bairavaa’. Directed by Bharathan, the action-drama opened to a decent response at the box office while receiving a mixed response from fans. However, she did manage to impress fans with her chemistry with ‘Thalapathy’. Now, Keerthy is set to work with Vijay once again. In an exciting development, the makers of ‘Thalapathy 62’ have confirmed that she will star opposite him in the film. Well, this is some good news and is bound to create a buzz amongst Keerthy’s fans.

In case you did not know, ‘Thalapathy 62’ will be directed by AR Murugadoss and will feature Vijay in a new avatar. It is believed that this one is going to pretty different from Vijay’s recent films.

Interestingly, Vijay was last seen in ‘Mersal’ which became a super hit upon release and received the thumbs up from fans. In it, he was seen alongside Kajal Aggarwal and did full justice to his role. On the other hand, ARM’s last film was ‘Spyder’. Featuring Mahesh Babu in the lead, it underperformed at the box office much to the disappointment of movie buffs. As such, ‘Thalapathy 62’ will be a crucial release for the filmmaker.

On a related note, 2018 is a mighty busy year for Keerthy. She has a host of other biggies in her kitty including ‘Mahanati’ and ‘Thaanaa Serndha Koottam’ in her kitty. ‘Mahanati’ is based on the life of yesteryear actress Savitri and is slated to hit screens in March. In it, she will be seen alongside Dulquer Salmaan and Samantha Akkineni. As far as ‘Thaanaa Serndha Koottam’ is concerned, it is a crime-thriller and has been directed by Vighnesh Shivn. In it, she will be seen alongside the dashing Suriya.

So, is Keerthy the right choice for ‘Thalapathy 62’? Comments, please!
