Kerala floods: Here’s how much actors have donated to the Kerala Relief Fund

The situation has worsened in Kerala as the death toll in Kerala has risen to 324 with the lakhs of people have been left homeless due to unstoppable rains. The state is witnessing worst flood condition with people around the country trying their best to contribute and support the people of Kerala floods. Crops and property worth Rs 8,000 crore have been damaged, according to media reports. A lot of people are extending their support to the victims by contributing money and everything that is possible. Celebrities from the film industry have also been urging their fans to support as much as they can.

Recently, Actor Karthi and Suriya handed over a cheque of Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund. Other celebrities including Kamal Haasan, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sidharth, Dhanush have donated money. Allu Arjun has donated Rs 25 lakh, Kamal Haasan Rs 25 lakh, Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan Rs 25 lakh, Anupama Parameshwaran Rs 1 lakh, Vijay Sethupathi Rs 25 lakh, Siddharth Rs 10 lakh, Dhanush Rs 15 lakh, Sivakarthikeyan Rs 10 lakh, Nayanthara Rs 10 lakh, Vishal Rs 10 lakh, Vijay Devarakonda Rs 5 lakh among others have helped their bit. Actor Siddharth started a #KeralaDonationChallenge and begged people to contribute too. Another celebrity who joined the cause is Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has helped Kerala flood victims. Resul Pookutty took to social media to thank Shah Rukh Khan for the help.
