Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and many others have come out to help flood-hit Kerala. South celebs Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sidharth, Dhanush, Kamal Haasan among others have donated money to help the victim of Kerala floods. A lot of people are extending their support to the victims by contributing money and everything that is possible. Celebrities from the film industry have also been urging their fans to support as much as they can.
Allu Arjun has donated Rs 25 lakh, Kamal Haasan Rs 25 lakh, Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan Rs 25 lakh, Anupama Parameshwaran Rs 1 lakh, Vijay Sethupathi Rs 25 lakh, Siddharth Rs 10 lakh, Dhanush Rs 15 lakh, Sivakarthikeyan Rs 10 lakh, Nayanthara Rs 10 lakh, Vishal Rs 10 lakh, Vijay Devarakonda Rs 5 lakh among others have helped their bit. The latest actor to support the cause is Tamil star Vikram, who has donated a whopping amount of Rs 35 lakhs.
The letter reads, “It is a humble contribution that we offer to assuage the colossal anguish of the people of Kerala. Out prayers are continuously offered to bring normalcy back to the people of Kerala state. This was followed by the details of the cheque, contributed towards the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund(Kerala State).”

On the work front, Vikram will be seen in his upcoming film Saamy Square. Saamy Square will star Bobby Simha as the antagonist while actors like John Vijay, Prabhu and Soori will be seen in supporting roles. The sequel is being made after 14 years of the release of the original Saamy which was a super hit film in the career of Vikram and is one of the milestones in Vikram’s career.
Vikram will return as the foul-mouthed, twirled mustache sporting police officer in Saamy Square, a role which made him one of biggest stars in the South Indian industry.
