The versatile Vijay Sethupathi is arguably going through a terrific phase in life these days. His ‘Vikram Vedha’, which hit screens a few days ago—has become a proved to be a big hit at the box office and earned rave reviews along the way. Moreover, he has impressed all and sundry with his gripping portrayal of a gangster in the film. And now, his fans have another reason to rejoice. In an exciting development, the latest poster of his eagerly-awaited ‘96’ has been released and it is quite intriguing. In it, we see Vijay sitting with his back to the camera and thinking about something. Judging by the poster it seems that this will be a film about romance and self-discovery.
In case you did not know, ‘96’ is touted to be a romantic drama and has been directed by C Prem Kumar. Besides Vijay, it features Trisha Krishnan in the lead. Sometime ago, the lovely lady had revealed that the film is quite similar to Gautham Menon’s VTV.
“The movie is a beautiful romantic journey and one has to watch it to feel the soul of it. I can’t describe the emotion in words. It’s like another Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya for me! I have been in discussion with Prem Kumar almost a year now,” she had added.
Well, we hope that ‘96’ proves to be just as successful as VTV.
