Here is the latest update about Suriya’s film with Selvaraghavan

It is no secret that Suriya is one of the most successful and bankable stars in Tamil cinema today. During his eventful career, he has won the love of fans thanks to his gripping performances, good looks and simple personality. Moreover, he is regarded as an inspiration by fans thanks to his perfect personal life.

Now, there is some good news for his fans. According to a leading daily, the makers of his film with Selvaraghavan are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that it turns out to be a treat for moviegoers. As it so happens, they have erected a set resembling the town of Ambasamudram and will be filming a few key scenes on it. Revealing more about this, a source said that it took nearly 23 days to erect the Rs 3 crore set.

“Art director RK Vijaya Murugan has recreated Ambasamudram in Chennai, with houses, a temple and some greenery intact. Over 220 people worked on the three-crore-worth set, and work went on for over 23 days. Suriya and Selva are expected to shoot here for over 20 days from this week. This schedule will involve a lot of artistes and since it wouldn’t be feasible to shoot in the actual location, the director opted to raise a set in the city,” added the source.

Well, we wish the team of Suriya 36 good luck and hope that the hard work pays off. Besides Suriya, the film also has Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet in the lead.

On a related note, Suriya was last seen in the Pongal release Thaanaa Serndha Koottam and received praise for his work. A Vignesh Shivn directorial, it also had Keerthy Suresh in the lead and did well at the box office.
