Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam featuring a bevy of stars released at the Box Office last weekend. The music of the film has been composed by maestro A.R.Rahman and has been written and directed by Mani Ratnam. CCV stars Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Rajesh and Dayana Erappa. Well, this film is an action thriller contrary to Mr. Ratnam’s genre of movies and is receiving some amazing response from the audience and critics. Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu also could not stop praising the film.

Well, we all know Mani Ratnam is the biggest brand in Tamil Cinema and fans always have quite high expectations from the filmmaker with his every new movie. The trailer of CCV had received a positive response and only hinted that this film has a potential to be among Mani Ratnam’s biggest hits. Menahwile, CCV has earned huge in Tamil Nadu. On Thursday, the film earned Rs 8.05 crore, on Friday Rs 6.05 crore, on Saturday Rs 7.50 crore and on Sunday Rs 8.50 crore. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam has grossed approximately Rs 30.10 crore in four days in Tamil Nadu, which is extraordinary.
