Makers of Sarkar pull down Vijay’s smoking first look poster after backlash

Actor Vijay’s upcoming film Sarkar is currently the most talked about film in Tamil film industry. After the makers unveiled the title and first look poster of Sarkar, a lot has happened around the film. One of the posters of Sarkar had Vijay in a smoking poster which created a lot of backlash from a certain section of audience. And the latest to get added to the list is the Tamil Nadu Health Department. Reportedly, the Health Department issues notices to the makers of Sarkar regarding the smoking poster. And apparently, the makers pulled down the poster from all their social media handles after the backlash from many people and the notice by the Health Department.

Featuring Vijay in a stylish role, Sarkar is said to be an action entertainer and will have A.R.Murugadoss mark to it. Keerthy Suresh would be playing the female lead in Sarkar and will be her second film with Vijay after Bairavaa. Veteran actor Livingston would be seen playing an important role in the film. More details about the rest of the cast is yet to be revealed by the makers.

Actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has been signed on to play an important role in the film and will be her first time association with Vijay in her career. Varalaxmi will be seen playing a brief role, however, it is being said that her character would be of great importance to the narrative of the story.

The music of Sarkar is being composed by AR Rahman and the maestro’s previous album for Vijay in Mersal was a super hit one leading to huge expectations on Sarkar too. Directed by A.R.Murugadoss, Sarkar will have Vijay playing a stylish and uber cool role and with the first look posters out now, the expectations are quite high on it now.
